Ranabaali Day 17 Box Office: Rs 80.03 Crore Worldwide, Just Short of Kingdom Record

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Telugu period drama Ranabaali has crossed Rs 80 crore worldwide, collecting an estimated Rs 80.03 crore gross in 17 days in theatres. The film, which released on October 16, 2026, added Rs 38 lakh net in India on Day 17 (Sunday, November 1), a small rise on Day 16’s Rs 37 lakh net. All figures are trade estimates.

The 17-day split shows a run built almost entirely at home. India has contributed Rs 67.68 crore gross (Rs 58.27 crore net), while overseas markets have added Rs 12.35 crore, about 15 per cent of the worldwide total. The film has played 27,963 shows in India across its run so far.

The week-wise pattern explains the story of the run. Ranabaali opened strongly with Rs 45.20 crore net in Week 1, then fell sharply to Rs 12.10 crore net in Week 2. Week 3 so far has added only Rs 97 lakh net in three days, after show counts were cut by roughly 1,000 screens over the most recent weekend. Day 1 remains the film’s best day, at Rs 9.25 crore net in India.

What keeps the film in the news is the record in front of it. Trade reports put Ranabaali about Rs 2 crore short of surpassing Kingdom’s worldwide lifetime total, which would make it Vijay Deverakonda’s biggest post-pandemic grosser worldwide as well as in India — it has already passed Kingdom’s India total. The gap is small, but with daily collections now under Rs 40 lakh, it is not guaranteed.

Here is the Filmverse take: Ranabaali’s run is a reminder that a strong opening week is no longer enough on its own. The film did the hard part — it opened, it found its audience in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and it held the top of the trade conversation for a fortnight. But the steep Week 2 fall and the third-week screen cuts show how quickly a mixed reception and a crowded calendar, with Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 still running and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana arriving on November 5, can squeeze a film out. Crossing Kingdom worldwide would still be a genuine milestone for Deverakonda, but the film now needs weekdays, not just weekends, to get there. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series Films, Ranabaali stars Deverakonda and Mandanna in a period action drama. It was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 120–150 crore.
