Ranabaali Box Office Day 10: Vijay Deverakonda’s Film Nears Rs 50 Crore Nett, Crosses Rs 70 Crore Worldwide
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period action drama Ranabaali is holding its ground into its second Sunday. According to live trade tracking, the film collected an estimated Rs 2.25 crore nett in India on day 10, Sunday, October 25, taking its cumulative India total to approximately Rs 48.70 crore nett. The film is running at around 26.3 per cent occupancy across 465 theatres, with Telangana leading the way.
The day-wise run tells the story of a slow-burner rather than a front-loaded opener. Ranabaali opened on October 16 with Rs 8.59 crore nett, followed by Rs 7.00 crore on day 2 and Rs 6.99 crore on day 3. Weekdays settled into the Rs 3–6 crore range — Rs 4.93 crore on day 4, Rs 6.16 crore on day 5, Rs 4.89 crore on day 6 and Rs 3.07 crore on day 7 — before the second weekend brought Rs 2.06 crore on Friday and Rs 2.76 crore on Saturday. The film’s second Sunday is now pushing it toward the Rs 50 crore nett milestone in India.
The Telugu states remain the film’s backbone. By the end of its second Saturday, Ranabaali had collected around Rs 12 crore in share in the Nizam region alone, and it has reportedly crossed the Rs 70 crore mark in global gross collections. During the film’s first media interaction in 418 days, producer Ravi Shankar called it a super hit, saying it had already reached the breakeven point in several territories in the Telugu states. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music by Ajay-Atul, Ranabaali is notably the first release for Deverakonda and Mandanna since their marriage.
Here is the Filmverse take: Ranabaali is the rare 2026 release whose second weekend matters more than its opening. An Rs 8.59 crore start was respectable, not explosive, but the film’s refusal to collapse in week two — a second Saturday better than its second Friday — is the signature of genuine word of mouth rather than opening-weekend hype. Nizam’s Rs 12 crore share shows the core Telugu audience embraced it, and the breakeven claims from the producers suggest the film was budgeted for exactly this kind of run. With no major Telugu release crowding it until the Diwali corridor, Ranabaali has room to keep crawling toward Rs 50 crore nett — and for a period drama without a franchise tag, that slow climb is a more meaningful verdict than any opening-day record.
