Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 Day 2 Box Office: Rs 33.95 Crore Worldwide in Two Days as Saturday Beats Opening Day
Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 has grown on its second day at the box office, collecting Rs 10.40 crore net in India on Saturday, October 31, up 6.7 per cent on its opening day. The family action comedy drama has now collected Rs 20.15 crore net and Rs 23.60 crore gross in India in two days, with overseas markets adding Rs 2.75 crore on Day 2 to take the worldwide gross to Rs 33.95 crore. All figures are trade estimates.
The Saturday growth is the more encouraging number in the film’s early run. Day 2 played across 3,192 shows at 48.1 per cent occupancy, averaging Rs 32,581 per show, with night shows the fullest at 68.2 per cent. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the film’s engine room, contributing Rs 9.75 crore gross on Day 2 — nearly 80 per cent of the tracked India total — while Karnataka added Rs 1.70 crore. Hyderabad was the strongest city at 63.3 per cent occupancy, followed by Vizag-Visakhapatnam at 63.0 per cent.
The film, starring Venkatesh alongside Srinidhi Shetty, with Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj and Yuvina Parthavi in supporting roles, is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations, with music by S. Thaman. It released in theatres on Friday, October 30, and its Day 1 worldwide gross of Rs 16.65 crore made it the seventh-biggest Tollywood opening of 2026. The early signs for Sunday are strong: 3,477 shows are already listed for Day 3, with Rs 5.41 crore booked as of 6 AM IST on November 1, according to Sacnilk.
Here is the Filmverse take: a Saturday that beats Friday is exactly what a family entertainer needs, because its core audience — families booking closer to the weekend — is only now walking in. The film’s real test is not this weekend but the one after, when Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana storms theatres on November 5 and premium screens get reallocated. If Aadarsha Kutumbam holds its occupancy through Sunday and into the weekdays, it will have proved that a rooted family story can still carve out a long run in a year dominated by action spectacles.
