Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 Day 1 Box Office: Venkatesh’s Film Opens at Rs 16.65 Crore Worldwide

Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 has opened to a strong start at the box office, collecting Rs 16.65 crore in worldwide gross on its first day. The action comedy drama, which released in theatres on Friday, October 30, recorded an India net collection of Rs 9.50 crore and an India gross of Rs 11.15 crore from 3,073 tracked shows, with overseas markets contributing a further Rs 5.50 crore. All figures are trade estimates.

The opening-day numbers put the film among the year’s notable Telugu launches. According to Sacnilk’s tracking, the Day 1 worldwide gross of Rs 16.65 crore makes Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 the seventh-biggest Tollywood opener of 2026. The film registered an average occupancy of 44.1 per cent across its opening-day shows, with a reported footfall of around 6.52 lakh. Its North America premiere advance had already closed at $176,947 across 321 locations and 669 shows, according to trade tracker Venky Box Office, signalling strong interest from the overseas Telugu audience before release.

The film stars Venkatesh alongside Srinidhi Shetty, with Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj and Yuvina Parthavi in supporting roles, plus Rao Ramesh, Satya, Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore. It is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S. Radha Krishna (Chinababu) under Haarika & Hassine Creations, with music by S. Thaman. Early tracking for the weekend looks encouraging: more than 3,200 shows are already listed for Sunday, November 1, with advance bookings underway, and Day 2 shows were tracking through Saturday afternoon.

Here is the Filmverse take: the opening matters because it is a test of the family-entertainer bet in a year dominated by action spectacles. Venkatesh and Trivikram are both names associated with crowd-pleasing, dialogue-driven cinema, and a Rs 16.65 crore opening suggests the audience turned up for exactly that — a familiar star in a rooted family story rather than another large-scale action launch. The real verdict, though, comes from the Saturday and Sunday holds: if the film sustains its occupancy through the weekend, it will confirm that the family audience, which books closer to the weekend, is still the backbone of Telugu cinema’s box office.
