Pratap Trailer Out Today: Amit Sadh’s Cop-Becomes-Target Thriller Unveils Seema Biswas, Tigmanshu Dhulia Posters

The trailer of Amit Sadh’s Pratap arrives today, October 26, and the makers have spent the final days before it building the film’s world one character at a time. On October 25, presented by Pradeep Rangwani and UV Films, they unveiled the character posters of Seema Biswas as Meera Sen and Tigmanshu Dhulia as ACP Daler Singh — the latest reveals in a campaign built around a single question: what happens when the cop becomes the target?

The two new posters are deliberately contrasting. Seema Biswas’s Meera Sen appears in police uniform, stern and commanding — a principled officer described by the makers as a stickler for the rulebook who never compromises on duty. Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ACP Daler Singh, by contrast, is shrouded in intrigue: his poster hints at a police officer behind bars, with little revealed about his backstory or how his journey connects to the larger narrative. The pair follow earlier character reveals of Amit Sadh and Esha Deol, and the ensemble also includes Milind Gunaji.

Written and directed by Sachin Saraf, Pratap follows a decorated encounter specialist whose life takes a turn that challenges everything he once stood for. The motion poster, unveiled on October 22, set up the premise through newspaper headlines hinting at a dismissed police officer, a National Investigation Agency probe, a high-profile bomb scare case and a possible connection to an influential industrialist, before landing on Sadh himself behind bars. The film’s tagline drives the point home: “This Time, the Target Is Within.” Pratap is scheduled to release in cinemas on November 20, 2026, with music on UV Music.

Here is the Filmverse take: this is a well-judged slow-burn campaign for a film without a superstar safety net. Rather than selling Pratap on one face, the makers are selling it on an ensemble of strong, credible actors — and the Meera Sen versus Daler Singh contrast is the campaign’s smartest move so far, because it promises a story where the law is not a single hero but a system pulling in opposite directions. The risk for a cop thriller in a crowded November is familiarity: audiences have seen the framed-officer story many times. What will decide Pratap’s fate is whether today’s trailer shows something genuinely new about why this officer falls — a conspiracy, a betrayal, or a choice of his own — rather than just the fall itself. The posters have earned the trailer its audience; now the trailer has to earn the ticket.
