Udit Narayan, KING and Shaan Bring Indian Music to the USA and Canada This November: Dates and Venues

November is shaping up as one of the busiest months of the year for Indian live music in North America. Udit Narayan and his son Aditya bring their Legacy Tour to four US cities, rapper KING plays two Canadian dates, and Shaan headlines a Diwali celebration in Mississippi — all within three weeks, and all with published venue listings.

The Legacy Tour is the month’s biggest draw for Hindi-film music fans. Udit and Aditya Narayan open in the Chicago area on Friday, November 20, at Aura Club and Conventions in Naperville, Illinois, then play the New York area on Saturday, November 21, at the Tilles Center in Greenvale, with tickets listed from $49. It continues in Pennsylvania on Friday, November 27, at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, and in Detroit on Saturday, November 28, at the Detroit Music Hall Center. Udit Narayan — Padma Shri in 2009, Padma Bhushan in 2016, four National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards — is the voice behind Papa Kehte Hain, Mitwa and Chand Chhupa Badal Mein. The father-son pairing gives the evening both nostalgia and a present-day host in Aditya.

The month’s other headline acts skew younger. Rapper KING, one of the biggest names in desi hip-hop, performs in Toronto on Saturday, November 21, and in Vancouver on Sunday, November 22, at the Harbour Event Centre. On Saturday, November 14, Shaan brings Bollywood classics, romantic ballads and dance anthems to the Beau Rivage Theatre in Biloxi, Mississippi, headlining the resort’s Diwali celebration; doors 7:00 pm, show 8:00 pm, tickets through the resort. Jubin Nautiyal is also touring this month — San Jose, Dallas, Boston and Atlantic City — as we reported here: https://filmverse.in/jubin-nautiyal-usa-canada-tour-november-2026-dates/ One caution: Karan Aujla’s six November US arena dates were postponed to February 2027, as we reported here: https://filmverse.in/karan-aujla-usa-tour-postponed-november-dates-february-2027/ — so check your venue listing before travelling.

Here is the Filmverse take: what stands out is the range — a playback legend, a Gen-Z rapper and a 2000s pop voice, all playing the same three-week window to the same diaspora, from a Long Island performing-arts centre to a Mississippi casino theatre. That spread is the story of the North American Indian audience itself: no longer one generation or one genre, and promoters have finally started booking like it. If you choose one night, the Legacy Tour is the once-in-a-decade room — Udit Narayan’s US appearances are rare, and a father-son bill is rarer still. Book through the venue, and confirm the date the week of the show.
