Drishyam 3: The Conclusion Nears Rs 550 Crore Worldwide, Becomes Ajay Devgn’s Biggest Grosser Ever
Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is closing in on the Rs 550 crore worldwide milestone, and in the process it has already rewritten the actor’s career record. The crime thriller directed by Abhishek Pathak is now the highest-grossing film of Ajay Devgn’s career — and the question trade watchers are asking is whether it has enough momentum left to reach Rs 600 crore before its theatrical run ends.
After 18 days in cinemas, the film stands at a worldwide gross of Rs 548.25 crore, per Sacnilk-tracked trade estimates: Rs 350.85 crore India net, Rs 420.50 crore India gross and Rs 127.75 crore overseas. The international market has delivered a record contribution for an Ajay Devgn film — roughly 23% of the worldwide total — while domestic collections remain the primary driver. Total footfalls have crossed 1.50 crore.
The film benefited from a massive Gandhi Jayanti opening on October 2 and from strong audience curiosity about how Vijay Salgaonkar’s story would conclude. Its second week showed encouraging staying power, retaining approximately 36% of its opening-week India net business — a meaningful hold for a dialogue-driven suspense film competing in a market increasingly dominated by large-scale action spectacles.
On its second Thursday, the film beat new and holdover competition outright — outgrossing Bhooth Bangla (Rs 4.08 crore), Mirzapur: The Movie (Rs 3.75 crore) and Border 2 (Rs 3.25 crore) on the day — and it now ranks among the highest grossers of 2026. With daily collections gradually slowing, the path to Rs 600 crore will depend on how well it holds across Indian cinemas in the coming weeks.
Led by Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, Drishyam: The Conclusion stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav reprising their roles, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj joining the cast. Unlike the first two Hindi instalments, the conclusion features a completely original story rather than a remake of the Malayalam film. It is produced by Panorama Studios in association with Star Studio18 and T-Series.
