Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 First Week Box Office: Venkatesh Starrer Closes Week 1 at Rs 46 Crore India Gross
Venkatesh Daggubati’s Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 has closed its first week with Rs 46 crore gross in India, per Pinkvilla trade estimates. The Telugu family action-comedy, released on October 30, now faces a difficult second week after a sharp weekday slide.
The film collected just Rs 1.75 crore on Day 7, Thursday, November 5 — its lowest single day. The day-wise India gross reads Rs 10.75 crore on Day 1, Rs 11.50 crore on Day 2, Rs 12.75 crore on Day 3, Rs 3.75 crore on Day 4, Rs 3.00 crore on Day 5, Rs 2.50 crore on Day 6 and Rs 1.75 crore on Day 7, totalling Rs 46.00 crore. All figures are trade estimates.
The pattern tells the story. Aadarsha Kutumbam opened strongly, collecting around Rs 35 crore gross in its first three days, but the Monday crash was severe and the film never recovered its weekday hold. The release of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1 on November 5 — Day 7 for the Venkatesh starrer — took screens and attention away at the wrong moment, though the slide had set in well before that.
Territory-wise, Nizam contributed Rs 17.50 crore, followed by Andhra at Rs 16.50 crore and Ceded at Rs 4.25 crore, taking the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana total to Rs 38.25 crore. Karnataka added Rs 5.75 crore and the rest of India around Rs 2 crore. Overseas, the film had crossed Rs 15.50 crore by Day 6, taking its worldwide gross past Rs 61.80 crore after six days, as per Sacnilk data.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film stars Venkatesh as Chittibabu, a husband who goes house-hunting with his wife, in a blend of comedy, family dynamics and action. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead, with Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj and Rao Ramesh in support.
The first-week picture is mixed for one of the season’s most anticipated Telugu releases. The opening weekend proved Venkatesh’s enduring pull with family audiences — Rs 35 crore in three days is no small feat — but the weekday trend suggests the film played mainly to its core audience and struggled to expand beyond it. With the production budget reportedly around Rs 128 crore including promotion costs, the road to break-even remains long, and the second week will decide how the film is remembered.
Festival holidays ahead may offer some relief, and the film will need a promising hold to end its run on a healthy note. Our Day 5 report: https://filmverse.in/aadarsha-kutumbam-house-no-47-day-5-box-office-58-95-crore-worldwide/
