Salman Khan Launches Official YouTube Channel: “Shuru Se Shuru Karte Hain”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially made his debut on YouTube. The actor launched his official YouTube channel on Friday, October 9, and introduced it to fans with a short, alphabet-themed video that hints at a wide variety of content to come.

Salman announced the launch through his Instagram Stories, where he shared a video of himself reciting the alphabet before introducing the channel. Alongside it, he wrote: “Shuru se shuru karte hain… Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega” — signalling that viewers can expect everything from A to Z on the platform.

The channel’s bio keeps the introduction brief: “Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian. This is my official channel.” At the time of the announcement, the channel featured 10 YouTube Shorts — mostly short, light-hearted uploads rather than long-format content — though Salman is yet to reveal a content schedule or what fans should expect next.

The response has been encouraging: the channel crossed 14,000 subscribers within roughly an hour of going live, per trade reports. Salman now joins Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Farah Khan and others in Bollywood who use YouTube to connect with fans beyond films and television.
