Gunmaaster G9: Emraan Hashmi Starrer Gets Overseas Distribution Boost Ahead of November 27 Release
Emraan Hashmi’s Gunmaaster G9 has secured a major overseas distribution boost ahead of its November 27 release. Phars Films has acquired the film’s overseas theatrical rights, giving the action romance a distribution partner for international markets, including the Middle East, as the makers gear up for their worldwide rollout.
The overseas deal, reported by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, follows PEN Marudhar coming on board as the film’s all-India distributor. With the two partners handling domestic and international territories respectively, the film’s distribution network is now firmly in place. The financial terms of the overseas deal have not been made public.
Directed by Aditya Datt, the film stars Emraan Hashmi, Genelia D’Souza, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh. Its promotional campaign has been building steadily — the teaser and the first song, ‘Afsaana Banaaya Aapne’, have introduced audiences to the film’s action-romance world, with the track reuniting Emraan with composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya.
With action, romance and music forming part of its appeal, Gunmaaster G9 arrives in cinemas worldwide on November 27, 2026.
