Meethe Mein Kya Hai First Poster Out: Radhika Bansal’s Diwali Family Drama to Stream on Netflix on October 30

The first poster of Meethe Mein Kya Hai, the directorial debut of Radhika Bansal, has been unveiled ahead of the film’s Netflix premiere on October 30. The poster brings together the entire household in a single frame, offering a first glimpse of the festive family world of the light-hearted drama.

The film revolves around family relationships and togetherness across four days of Diwali celebrations, blending humour with everyday situations and familiar family dynamics. It is presented by Utthan Capital and produced by Ajit Mohan, and is positioned as a cross-generational watch for the festive season.

The cast features Ritwik Bhowmik and Rohini Hattangadi alongside Ayesha Raza Mishra, Abhay Kaul, Tarana Raja, Vikram Bakshi, Gaurav K. Sharma, Dalai, Shivika Rishi, Ayuushman Ghai and Kanikka Kapur.

For Bansal, the film marks an unconventional entry into filmmaking. She began writing as a way to keep a journal, gradually fictionalising personal experiences instead of documenting them directly. Her first screenplay, a legal drama that attracted interest from major streaming platforms, was never greenlit — but the experience pushed her to keep writing. She wrote Meethe Mein Kya Hai in under three months and chose to direct it herself despite never having worked on a film set, completing the project in eleven months.
