DC: The Bloody Valentine Streams on SonyLIV Today in Five Languages

Arun Matheswaran’s action drama DC — titled DC: The Bloody Valentine in its Hindi version — begins streaming on SonyLIV today, October 16, 2026, in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

The film stars Lokesh Kanagaraj, the blockbuster director of Kaithi, Master, Leo and Coolie, in his lead acting debut as Devadas, popularly known as Das — an outlaw who lives by his own moral code until his world is upended by Parvathy, a singer. Wamiqa Gabbi plays Chandra, a woman fighting to survive her circumstances, while Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Kasthuri Raja and Thalaivasal Vijay round out the cast. A dark, violent reworking of the Devdas story, the film blends love, betrayal, loyalty and revenge, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.

DC released theatrically on August 7, 2026, and trade reports of its box-office performance vary — some trackers put the worldwide gross above Rs 100 crore while others estimate a Rs 50 crore-plus figure (all trade estimates). It then premiered on Sun NXT on September 4 before SonyLIV announced this five-language digital expansion.
