Beparwah Title Announced: Ahaan Panday, Sharvari’s YRF Romantic Action Drama Releases March 26, 2027
Yash Raj Films has officially titled its upcoming romantic action drama Beparwah. The film stars Ahaan Panday and Sharvari in their first on-screen pairing, is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and is produced by Aditya Chopra. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 26, 2027, with the production house unveiling the title alongside a teaser poster exactly five months before the film arrives in cinemas.
The teaser poster sets the tone for the film’s mix of romance and action. Ahaan Panday is seen in a black leather jacket holding a gun, while Sharvari, in a long skirt, holds a guitar — an image that suggests a musical, gangster-tinged love story, though the makers have kept plot and character details under wraps for now. The announcement also confirms the film’s supporting ensemble, reported to include Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray, with Thackeray said to be playing the antagonist.
Beparwah is Ahaan Panday’s second film with Yash Raj Films after his acting debut in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, in which he starred opposite Aneet Padda. That film became one of the biggest Hindi hits of 2025, driven by its music and its fresh pairing, so the expectations around Panday’s follow-up are already high. For Sharvari, Beparwah adds another major studio project to a fast-growing filmography, and the pairing brings together two young performers the industry is watching closely.
The film also marks Ali Abbas Zafar’s return to Yash Raj Films, the banner where he previously directed Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai were major commercial successes, and Zafar’s return to the studio after that run is itself a talking point. The film has been shot across international locations in the United Kingdom and on sets in India, and Zafar is credited as co-writer alongside producer Aditya Chopra.
Here is the Filmverse take: the title reveal is doing more work than it first appears to. Beparwah — carefree, reckless — is a title that promises a hero who loves without worrying about consequences, and pairing that attitude with a gun in one hand and a guitar in the other is a deliberate signal that this is not a soft romance. YRF is clearly betting that Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara goodwill can carry into a harder, more commercial register, and giving him a director with two of the banner’s biggest blockbusters is the safest way to test that bet. The March 26, 2027 date, falling on the Good Friday weekend, gives the film a holiday frame — but it also means the campaign has five months to prove this pairing is more than a poster.
