Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 Day 4 Box Office: Rs 55.65 Crore Worldwide as Monday Drop Tests Venkatesh’s Family Entertainer
Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 has met its first weekday reality check, collecting Rs 3.40 crore net in India on Day 4 (Monday, November 2), down 69.8 per cent from Sunday’s Rs 11.25 crore net. The Telugu family action comedy drama played 2,981 shows on Monday at 24.1 per cent occupancy, and the sharp fall is the steepest single-day drop of its run so far. All figures are trade estimates.
The Monday addition takes the film’s India total to Rs 34.80 crore net and Rs 40.80 crore gross after four days. Overseas markets added Rs 75 lakh on Monday, taking the overseas total to Rs 14.85 crore, and the worldwide gross now stands at Rs 55.65 crore. The day-wise India net run reads Rs 9.75 crore on Friday, Rs 10.40 crore on Saturday, Rs 11.25 crore on Sunday and Rs 3.40 crore on Monday, while the worldwide gross has moved from Rs 16.65 crore on Day 1 to Rs 33.95 crore in two days, Rs 50.95 crore in three days and Rs 55.65 crore in four days.
The context around the Monday number matters as much as the number itself. Trade reports put the film’s production budget at around Rs 128 crore including promotion costs, so even a healthy opening weekend leaves a long road to break-even. The film stars Venkatesh alongside Srinidhi Shetty, with Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Yuvina Parthavi and Raja Prajwal in supporting roles, and it is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika and Hassine Creations, with music by S. Thaman. It released in theatres on Friday, October 30.
Here is the Filmverse take: a Monday fall after a family-driven weekend is normal, but a near-70 per cent drop is the number the trade will watch, because it shows how much of the weekend audience was opening-weekend curiosity and how much was genuine family word of mouth. The film does not need Monday to match Sunday; it needs Tuesday and Wednesday to stabilise, because Thursday, November 5, brings Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which will claim premium screens everywhere. If the weekday holds stay respectable, the film can still build a steady second-week run on family audiences. If they slide further, the opening weekend will stand as its peak rather than its platform.
