Nushrratt Bharuccha Shares First Post After Bali Accident: “Picture Abhi Baaki Hai, Mere Dost”

Nushrratt Bharuccha has shared her first personal update since her spine fracture in Bali, and it is a message of quiet hope. On Saturday, October 10, the actress posted an Instagram Story showing an empty reclining wheelchair facing a window with a sunset glowing outside it.

She captioned the image, “Been chasing sunsets forever, And just like that.. my view changed. But, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost” — a nod to the famous Hindi film dialogue, roughly translating to “the picture is not over yet, my friend.”

Nushrratt suffered a spinal fracture on October 1, 2026, while on a work-cum-holiday trip to Bali. She was hospitalised locally and placed under observation before being airlifted to Mumbai by air ambulance on October 2 for surgery. Her team’s statement said her shooting schedules and public commitments for the coming weeks would be affected, and requested privacy while she focuses on her recovery. Fans flooded social media with wishes for her speedy recovery.
