The movie Jailer boasts an incredibly talented cast, including popular actors like Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, and, of course, Rajinikanth. This star-studded lineup makes it one of the most impressive films to come out in recent times.

On Monday, the movie “Jailer” had a great day at the Indian box office, raking in Rs. 30 crores. Since Monday was the day before the big Independence Day holiday, it performed like a Saturday, surpassing its Friday numbers. The film’s total box office collections in India now stand at Rs. 192 crores after five days, and it is expected to cross the Rs. 200 crores milestone today.

The Rajinikanth movie also made US $1 million in foreign countries, bringing its total international earnings to $16.20 million (₹134 crores). This puts the film’s worldwide earnings over ₹300 crores, making it the second movie by the superstar to achieve this milestone.

Here are the box office earnings of Jailer in India: Thursday: ₹50.25 crores, Friday: ₹28.50 crores, Saturday: ₹38 crores, Sunday: ₹45.25 crores, Monday: ₹30 crores

The territory wise collection of Jailer as as below:

Tamil Nadu: Rs. 90 crores
AP/TS: Rs. 37.50 crores
Karnataka: Rs. 30.75 crores
Kerala: Rs. 28.25 crores
North India: Rs. 5.50 crores

A huge Total of ₹192 crores.

The film made approximately Rs. 14.25 crores in Tamil Nadu on Monday, which is higher than the Rs. 14 crores it made on Friday. In total, the film has earned Rs. 90 crores in the state over five days and is expected to cross the Rs. 100 crores mark today, making it the second fastest film to reach that milestone. The film is aiming to surpass Vikram’s final record in Tamil Nadu, but its success will depend on how it performs after the holiday period ends.

Outside of Tamil Nadu, the Telugu version of the film is experiencing a fantastic run. It earned an impressive Rs. 6.50 crores yesterday, almost matching its Saturday numbers. The total collection over five days is Rs. 37.50 crores, surpassing Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar. It seems likely that the film will reach over Rs. 80 crores, making it the second highest-grossing Kollywood film ever. Kerala has also been remarkable, outperforming all Tamil films except Vikram in just five days. It is expected to surpass Vikram by next Friday.
