Sunny Deol’s Suryaa First Look Out: Crime Thriller Set for November 20 Release
Sunny Deol has unveiled a never-seen-before avatar. The actor dropped the first-look motion poster of his upcoming crime thriller Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak on October 12, announcing a November 20, 2026 theatrical release.
The poster shows Deol with a weathered face, heavy beard and intense gaze — a world away from his familiar larger-than-life screen image. The tagline reads, “Torn between Past and Present, He uncovers the truth.” Sharing it, Deol wrote, “Presenting SURYAA: From the End to the Beginning! IN CINEMAS 20th November 2026.”
The film is a Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed 2018 Malayalam thriller Joseph, and marks the Bollywood directorial debut of M. Padmakumar. Deol reportedly plays a retired police officer pulled into an investigation that forces him to confront his own past. The story unfolds across three phases of the character’s life.
The cast includes Ravi Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Jisshu Sengupta, Tinu Anand and Manish Wadhwa. It is produced by MM Moviez, with producer Kamal Mukut revealing the film follows a two-film deal with Deol that began with Gadar 2.
