Ramayana Part 1 to Release Worldwide on November 5, 2026 in Nearly 40 Languages

One of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects now has a locked date. The makers of Ramayana have announced that Part 1 of the two-part epic will release worldwide on November 5, 2026 — and the rollout will be unprecedented, with the film planned in nearly 40 languages.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the announcement came with a new poster featuring the principal cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey and Yash, with Yash taking on Ravana. The poster also confirms the film has been shot for IMAX, signalling a full-scale big-screen spectacle.

A simultaneous release in nearly 40 languages would make this one of the widest Indian releases ever attempted — a clear bid to take the epic global. Part 1 arrives first on November 5, 2026, with the second chapter expected to follow.
