The Dussehra festive week is delivering one of the busiest streaming slates of the season, with Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and ZEE5 all dropping major Indian titles between October 19 and 25. Here is your complete watchlist.
The Paradise — Netflix, October 22. The biggest arrival of the week. Nani’s Telugu action drama, directed by Srikanth Odela, follows Jadal, a man from a marginalised nomadic community who returns home after 14 years in prison and confronts the oppression of his people. With music by Anirudh Ravichander and a hard-hitting social core beneath the spectacle, it is the week’s most anticipated streaming premiere.
Gajab Raat — Netflix, October 23. Manoj Bajpayee reunites with producer Neeraj Pandey for a single-night crime thriller, marking the directorial debut of acclaimed writer Ritesh Shah. Bajpayee plays a morally grey Delhi police officer torn between personal gain and duty after a young woman is thrown from a moving car near Connaught Place. The film was earlier titled Ghooskhor Pandat and renamed after the original title sparked controversy and legal proceedings. The ensemble includes Nushrratt Bharuccha, Saqib Saleem, Divya Dutta, Akshay Oberoi and Kiku Sharda.
Chaar Yaar — Prime Video, October 23. Creator Purav Jha leads this Hindi crime drama about four financially struggling friends who turn to luxury-car theft to survive Mumbai’s criminal underworld — a street-level survival story with breakout potential.
Dorothy — Netflix, October 23. Karthik Subbaraj directs Keerthy Suresh in a Tamil drama exploring caste divisions, violence and toxic masculinity, arriving with a Telugu dub.
The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 — JioHotstar, October 23. The animated mythology series returns right in time for Dussehra week.
Sumo Didi — ZEE5, October 23. A sports drama inspired by Hetal Dave, India’s first professional female sumo wrestler.
Varam — JioHotstar, October 22. A Telugu thriller series rounding out the regional slate.
