Venkatesh and Trivikram Reunite After 20 Years: Adarsha Kutumbam – House No. 47 Locks October 30 Release
Venkatesh Daggubati and filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas’ upcoming film Adarsha Kutumbam – House No. 47 will now release in theatres on October 30, the makers announced on Wednesday, October 21. The date has been revised twice — the film was first scheduled for October 2, then October 9 — before landing on the new slot.
The film marks the reunion of Venkatesh and Trivikram after two decades, a pairing Telugu audiences have waited long to see again. Directed by Trivikram and produced by Suryadevara Radhakrishna, popularly known as Chinababu, under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, the film features Venkatesh alongside Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, with Nivetha Pethuraj in an important part. Styled as AK 47 — short for Adarsha Kutumbam, House No. 47 — the family drama is set against the backdrop of a middle-class household, with the makers pitching it as a wholesome entertainer blending humour, emotional moments and action.
Sharing the update on social media, Venkatesh wrote: “Coming together with Srinu after two decades is very special, and we’re bringing you a wholesome entertainer with fun, action and a lot more,” inviting audiences to watch the film in theatres on October 30.

Here is the Filmverse take: two postponements in a month usually read as panic, but this one looks like arithmetic. The October 2 and October 9 exits neatly sidestepped the Dussehra corridor dominated by Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, and October 30 hands the film a relatively clean run — October has been brutal for release dates, with as many as nine films crowding October 23 alone, as Filmverse reported. That said, date-shuffling has a cost: every shift resets exhibitor confidence and forces marketing to start the countdown twice over. The real bet here is reunion equity. Venkatesh and Trivikram’s last collaboration is twenty years old, and Telugu cinema has a long, fond memory for director-actor pairs that once worked. If the “wholesome family entertainer” pitch lands, the two-decade gap stops being a footnote and becomes the entire campaign.
