Aakasamlo Oka Tara Teaser: Dulquer Salmaan’s Krishna Stands Behind Debutant Satvika’s Sky-High Dream
The official teaser of Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasamlo Oka Tara was unveiled on Saturday, October 17, offering a moving glimpse of an inspirational story about a village girl who dares to dream beyond the sky.
The 1-minute-51-second teaser introduces Kalpana, a brilliant student played by debutant Satvika Veeravalli, whose ambition to become an astronaut collides with her family’s expectations and deeply rooted social barriers. Her life takes a hopeful turn when Krishna — played by Dulquer Salmaan — recognises her potential and becomes her strongest supporter. Tired of being told she cannot even cross her village’s boundaries, Kalpana declares she will reach the sky, and Krishna encourages her to dream big.
Directed by Pavan Sadineni, the film is Dulquer Salmaan’s first collaboration with the director and his full-fledged Telugu outing after acclaimed performances in Mahanati, Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar. The producers are Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam, with Geetha Arts, Swapna Cinema and Lightbox Media presenting the film. Shruti Haasan plays a significant role as a bold science teacher, while GV Prakash Kumar — who recently praised the film on social media after watching it — composes the music.
The teaser suggests a feel-good, female-led drama blending personal struggle with an uplifting message. The story reflects the lives of rural girls who harbour big dreams but are often discouraged by society from pursuing them. Dulquer’s Krishna is written as a notably supportive husband figure who goes out of his way to help Kalpana realise her ambition, and the teaser has drawn praise for its sincerity and emotional depth.
Aakasamlo Oka Tara is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 20, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. With the teaser now out, the makers are expected to intensify the promotional campaign in the coming weeks.
