Awarapan 2 OTT Release: Emraan Hashmi’s 200-Crore Hit Now Streaming on Prime Video

Emraan Hashmi is back as Shivam Pandit — this time on your home screen. Awarapan 2, the sequel to the 2007 cult classic, is now streaming on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories.

Prime Video announced the digital premiere with a promotional video featuring Hashmi, inviting fans to reunite with Shivam Pandit. The film released in theatres on August 14 and turned into one of the year’s biggest Hindi hits, grossing Rs 213.01 crore worldwide, according to trade estimates from Sacnilk — making it the biggest box-office success of Hashmi’s career.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Films, the sequel picks up nearly two decades after the original. Shivam lives in isolation in a remote Rajasthan village, haunted by his past, before an unexpected bond pulls him into a cartel war in Bangkok and forces him back into the violent world he tried to leave.

Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, Puran Gabbi, Vijayant Kohli and Suvinder Vicky co-star in the action drama.
