The story
Set against the backdrop of the 1876–78 Madras Famine, Ranabaali is a period action drama about a gritty warrior who stands up to British oppression — a fictional tale rooted in a devastating chapter of real history. The teaser closes with a mysterious mythic twist that hints the film has more up its sleeve.
