Saif Ali Khan Finally Joins Instagram with ‘Pataudi Library’ First Post

The wait is finally over. Saif Ali Khan has made his much-anticipated Instagram debut, launching a verified account under the name ‘Saif Ali Khan Pataudi’ and dropping his first post — a carousel of pictures from the Pataudi library. “Pataudi Library.. Judging books by their cover..” the caption read, with one photo showing him browsing the shelves and another capturing him reading while seated on a leather cushioned chair.

True to his famously private persona, Saif is currently following only one person on the platform — his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has already followed him back. The understated, book-themed debut marks a significant shift for an actor who has long stayed away from social media. Two years ago, he admitted to having a secret lurker account, saying he browsed sometimes but didn’t enjoy it much and kept promising to delete the app.

On the work front, Saif recently starred in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan alongside Akshay Kumar.
