Nana Patekar’s Final Three Films: Eetha, The Confession of Mary and Shakti Shalini to Release Posthumously
Nana Patekar may have left us on October 8, but his work isn’t over. Three completed films featuring the veteran actor are still awaiting release and will now arrive posthumously:
Eetha — Laxman Utekar’s biographical drama on Vithabai Narayangaonkar, the celebrated Lavani and Tamasha artiste of Maharashtra. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Randeep Hooda alongside Patekar, it is slated for December 4, 2026. The teaser has already drawn praise for Shraddha’s transformation.
The Confession of Mary — a crime-drama-thriller in which Patekar plays Father Benedict, co-starring Adil Hussain and Ashish Vidyarthi.
Shakti Shalini — Maddock’s horror-comedy starring Aneet Padda, with Patekar in a key role. The film’s release plans are currently being reworked, with makers reportedly eyeing March to avoid a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s King.
Three final chances for audiences to see the legend on the big screen.
