Gauri Khan Turns 56: Sussanne Khan Shares Unseen Throwback Pictures

Gauri Khan turned 56 on Thursday, October 8, and the wishes poured in from across the industry. Leading them was close friend Sussanne Khan, who marked the occasion by sharing unseen throwback pictures of the two on social media.

The interior designer and Red Chillies Entertainment producer has been one of Bollywood’s most influential figures behind the camera. Married to Shah Rukh Khan since October 25, 1991, Gauri has built Gauri Khan Designs into a sought-after luxury interiors label, recently opening an appointment-only experience centre in Delhi.

Through Red Chillies, she has backed some of Hindi cinema’s biggest productions, while her three children — Aryan, Suhana and AbRam — keep the family firmly in the spotlight. Suhana is set to share the screen with her father in King, which arrives in cinemas on December 24.

Sussanne Khan, herself an interior designer and part of the industry’s inner circle for decades, joined fans and colleagues in celebrating the day, with the throwback pictures drawing warm reactions online.
