Udta Teer Trailer Out — Ayushmann Khurrana’s Amnesiac Spy Comedy Lands October 9

What happens when a Pakistani spy forgets who he is — and wakes up convinced he’s an Indian officer? Udta Teer, the new spy comedy from Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, answers with three minutes of glorious chaos. The official trailer dropped on September 23 and it is pure madcap fun.

Ayushmann Khurrana plays Bilal, a Pakistani intelligence operative who loses his memory in a blast and emerges believing he’s part of India’s Counter Terrorism Squad — turning hyper-patriotic while his handlers in Pakistan scramble to figure out what happened.

The cast

Ayushmann Khurrana as Bilal, Sara Ali Khan as a sharp CTS officer (reuniting with Ayushmann after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do), plus Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe.

The story

An espionage satire built on one delicious identity mix-up: a Pakistani agent, convinced he’s Indian, goes rogue protecting India while both sides try to contain the madness. Expect train combat, explosions, fourth-wall-breaking gags and Sachin-Jigar’s high-energy score.

Director, producer, release date

Written and directed by debutant Akash A Kaushik, produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain (Dharma Productions × Sikhya Entertainment). The film hits cinemas on October 9, 2026.
