Akshay Kumar released the teaser of his next film titled MISSION RANIGANJ – The Great Bharat Rescue scheduled to be released on Oct 6th.

Going by his choice of cinema, it looks that only Akshay has the courage to continue to bring socially relevant cinema in the times of loud and illogical, but economically blockbuster films. He always has choice to work on the films like Rowdy Rathore, Holiday, Housefull and also can work on the sequels of these and his other successful films. But in place of following a safe approach, he comes up with a great subject everytime.

only Akshay Kumar can bring such a bold but a very relevant and socially much required subject of sex education with OMG 2. There are more to name like Toilet ek prem Katha, Padman, Rakshabandhan among others.

Akshay shared the teaser on his Twitter handle with the caption “In 1989, one man showed courage and conviction that saved lives!”.

Mission Raniganj is based on the real-life incident that occurred in Raniganj Coalfields of West Bengal, in the year 1989. Jaswant Singh Gill risked his life to save 64 trapped laborers from a coal mine that had flooded during that period.
