Mrunal Thakur is recognized for her impressive path, having smoothly moved from television to movies. Today, the actress celebrates her fifth year in the film industry and on this special occasion, she shared her steadfast dedication to venturing into new realms in the world of cinema. With her rapid ascent in movies, Mrunal Thakur has established a distinct reputation for herself.

Mrunal Thakur has gone a long way since she started her film career with the critically praised movie “Love Sonia.” She has collaborated with some of the biggest names in Hindi and South cinema. With Sita Ramam, which also starred Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal made her Telugu film debut.

Mrunal Thakur began her acting career with the television serial Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan (2012) and Kumkum Bhagya (2014–2016). She won the ITA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Kumkum Bhagya.

After her Hindi film debut with Love Sonia (2018) she gained recognition with the 2019 moderately successful films Super 30 and Batla House. Following a series of commercial failures, she achieved success with the Telugu romantic drama Sita Ramam (2022). Mrunal Thakur has seen both success and disappointment in the Indian film industry during the past five years. The actress didn’t let that stop her from working hard and honing her craft to come back stronger, though. The actress remarked that she has so much more to discover as she reflected on her career. Mrunal continued by saying she was willing to do new things with her roles.

The Jersey actress told in an interview that she feels fortunate that directors gave her leading roles. “I’m fortunate to be part of the films with the titular lead actors during such a brief period of my career,” Mrunal said. It is a reality that I have established myself as a reliable and skilled actor in Bollywood in this little amount of time. The fact that I had titular parts in both the Hindi and Telugu versions is a fascinating coincidence.

“I feel fortunate that filmmakers have given me this responsibility,” Thakur concluded. I’m glad I got to be a part of two such legendary movies. It takes a lot of pride and responsibility to play such a significant role in a movie when your character is literally the title of the movie.

We respect her humbleness and wish her a long and successful career in films in multiple languages and genres and hopeful that she will continue to entertain and surprise the audience as she advances in her film career.
